I studied Fine Art, with an emphasis in Illustration, at Brigham Young University from 2004-2009. I had the opportunity to study under many noteworthy instructors, including Richard Hull and Robert Barrett. Gesture, head-painting, political art, art history, illustration, oil painting and graphic design were among the many classes I was able to take while attending there. My favorite medias include oil, ink and gouache, water color, acrylics and digital painting.

I focus primarily on portrait paintings, religious fine art and narrative illustrations. Since losing my infant son in 2015, I began a series of bereavement paintings as well as other religious artwork. These paintings are intended to uplift and bring hope to others who have experienced loss or who are struggling with other various trials. Art can bring so much peace to the soul; I hope to be able to share that through the pieces I create.
